While the number of sensors and computational power increases, also the strain on many water systems grows due to increasing demands. The control of these water systems therefore becomes increasingly difficult.
Optimisation software such as RTC-Tools offers functionality to determine the best control actions, taking into account system boundaries, forecast forcings and control objectives. Using this software can be complex for operators, even when integrated in Delft-FEWS.
