River Morphology

River morphology is the field of science dealing with changes of river planform and cross-section shape due to erosion and sedimentation processes. Delft3D is the state-of-the-art suit for modelling river morphology; It comprises more than 30 years of experience in river morphology. We are continuously working on improving and extending its functionality. In addition to standard functionality, Delft3D include functionalities such as: graded sediment modelling, sediment management by nourishment or dredging and dumping,  dune height prediction, and interaction between vegetation and morphology.

Here, in this space, we share knowledge & experiences, and discuss issues related to morphological modelling of rivers.
