map-file time inconsistency

I am having an interesting issue restarting from map-files that I am not sure if others have experienced (or if they have I have not found any threads about it).

I have a series of morphodynamic simulations that I need to restart from previous map-files. In the original simulations the reference time started on the hour and map-files were specified to be updated every ten minutes (my timestep, 0.0005 min, should allow this). When I look at the map-files though the times associated with them are not exactly at ten minute intervals. They are off by very small fractions of a second. Because of this, I am unable to restart from them. When I put in the time on the ten minute interval that they should be I get an error saying that restart time is not found on the map-file. When I do put in the exact time associated with the map-file I get an error saying that the restart time is not a multiple of the time step.

1. What could be the cause of this? Does it have something to do with the simulation time (100 hrs) being too long for a single reference date?

2. Is there a way to proceed from this point and use the map-files I already have? For example, is there a way to change the timestamp associated with the outputs in a map-file to be either on the ten minute interval or at least a multiple of my timestep?

I would appreciate any help!

Unfortunately! Thank you for inventing a new look. I really appreciate this girl's style, but I'm afraid there's no longer a chance. quordle
