Hello,
I'am trying to simulate a 3D model of an stratified pond that is with low concentration of dissolved oxygen. The aim of this study is to know if an artificial aeration system can be able to increase the concentration of DO and solve this problem. In this way, I'm trying to use the 'Bubble Screen' way, but I can't find some answares for many questions that I have.
Does anyone knows what the manual means with 'sub-grid model' or sub-grid approach? I thought that it was about making multiples domains, but I think that in this case it would be described like 'Domain Decomposition', and it's not.
Another question is about the file with extension <.bub>, that in the page 638 of FLOW's MANUAL is explained as a file that carries information about the plume of bubbles, but in the FLOW module I really didn't find any location for apply this file.

As an answer your second question: use additional parameters tab in the FLOW-GUI. You can add a field and define its keyword and value. In your case the keyword would be Filbub with the <*.bub> file name as its value.Regards,Dmitry

Bubble screens are exactly what the name suggests: screens of bubbles in water. They are used, for example, to mix water in lakes or to collect plastics from rivers. They are also used in locks between salt and fresh water bodies to reduce the amount of salt intrusion during passages. This maintains the quality of the fresh water, not only for ecological reasons and but also to ensure that the water can be used for agriculture and for drinking.
