Problems with Mpich3 - Forum - Delft3D-Old

I am new to Linux and trying to learn here. When I am trying to compile the delft3d, I get Error make fails! Which I am not sure what went wrong. I looked into build.sh and found out that it is directing to mpich2 which is the older version so I changed to the path which I am not entirely sure if its correct. But when I look into make.log the last error I get is netcdf.mod no such file or directory.
The mpich I got is by using apt because I also face issues compiling mpich 3.4.
Much appreciate for any ideas!
