My name is terry, nice to meet you !

Now I am building a flow model and it must use astronomical boundary conditions. I have 'measured' tidal constituents data of two locations inside my model area which from government website, and I use one station data (station 1) which close to my boundary as my astronomical boundary conditions, run delft-flow, get the results to run delft-triana in the other station location (station 2), and compare the 'computed' results with 'measured' data, and re-adjust my astronomical boundary conditions basing on the difference of the comparison.

My questions are:

1. Am I right to set my astronomical boundary conditions at the beginning (using station measured data directly which the station is closed to the boundary)?

2. Is the whole idea right?

3. I found those re-adjustment cost me a lot of time because my delft-flow model have to run for 1 day everytime. Is there any way to do the amendment more quickly?

4. How to do the re-adjustment, can you suggest a good way?

Regards and thanks,
terryterry wen2012-01-04T03:08:34Z
