Just something come into my mind, and I’d like to ask you for some comments:<br /><br />In the input file, the user needs to provide the “specific density” and “Reference density for hindered settling calculations”. I think the latter only affect the hindered settling velocity. Is it correct?<br /><br />Second, I was wondering how the “specific density” was used in a sediment model. It does not appear in the governing equation if the convection-diffusion equation was solved for the concentration in kg/m3; it does not affect the erosion and deposition either as the erosion rate is in kg/m2/sec (mass per unit area per unit time) and the settling velocity is a user-specified constant. <br /><br />Any hints are appreciated.
