Dear FEWS community,
The Bureau of Meteorology, Sunwater, Seqwater and Deltares are pleased to invite you to register for the Delft-FEWS User Days Australia 2023, which will be the 10th User Days in Australia. The hybrid event will be hosted in person at Sunwater’s head office in Brisbane and virtually via MS Teams over 23 to 25 August 2023.

The Delft-FEWS User Days are a great opportunity to connect with the Delft-FEWS community—to showcase progress, share experiences and learnings about new developments and ensure you're getting the most out of your platform. If you like to share your experience and developments in your Delft-FEWS system, please don’t hesitate to contact the organising committee.
This year’s User Days will include two days of presentations, a community gathering dinner, and a field trip to Sunwater’s hydraulics laboratory on the last day.
We are also very excited to announce the keynote speakers for this year’s User Days,
Dr Margaret Cook from Griffith University will present on “Living on Brisbane’s floodplain”.
Dr. Carlos Velasco-Forero from the Bureau of Meteorology will present on "Rainfall Forecasts in the Bureau: from traditional Numerical Weather Predictions to rapid-updated Nowcast Rainfall Ensembles"
