Delft-FEWS International User Days is just around the corner, with less than a month to go! We are honored to announce that our keynote speech for the first day: Mirza Sarač from the International Sava River Basin Commission and Andrej Golob from the Slovenian Environment Agency, Slovenia. Together, they will present a lecture titled “Use of Delft-FEWS in the transboundary Sava River Basin: Floods in Slovenia during August 2023”. We eagerly anticipate this highly relevant presentation and hope to see you all there!

About the presenters:

Mirza Sarač is working with the International Sava River Basin Commission (ISRBC) for 9 years where from 2014 is engaged on flood and GIS related projects and activities. Currently holds the position of the chairman of ISRBC’s Permanent Expert Group for Flood Prevention

Andrej Golob is a hydrologist, the Head of Forecasting department since 2021 and Forecaster on duty with more than 10-year experiences. Furthermore he is user and coordinator of Slovenian Environment Agency's activites regarding Delft-FEWS Sava Flood Forecasting System.
