Pre processing data

Hello everybody!

My name is Ana and im actually working with the FEWS plataform in the configuration part. I have an issue with the "transformation modules". Actually the plataform has a basis format and the transformation module for aggregating time series is already configured. Ive tried to aggregate time series and the xml. is correctly configured, but when i want to see it in the plataform there is no change, however the "errors visor" shows me no error in the configuration and that the processing has been completed correctly. What could be missing? i believe that there is one step missing in the part of calling the transformation module in the platafor. Please help!

Hi Ana,

maybe it has something to do with the relative View Period of the data? So make sure the T0 (system time) is set correctly, so at the end of the period of the data you want to process.

it could also be something else. Maybe you can share the transformation here?

Furthermore, using the workflow navigator (access via F12) you can inspect the timeseries entering a transformation, and the output of the transformation. of course the input timeseries should contain data.

good luck,
Arnejan

This is the code in xlm for the transformation module is at it follows:

<variableId>P_15minMMAyA</variableId>
<timeSeriesSet>
<moduleInstanceId>ImportMMAyA</moduleInstanceId>
<valueType>scalar</valueType>
<parameterId>P.obs</parameterId>
<locationSetId>Meteo_MMAyA</locationSetId>
<timeSeriesType>external historical</timeSeriesType>
<timeStep unit="minute" multiplier="15"/>
<relativeViewPeriod unit="day" startOverrulable="true" start="-5" end="0"/>
<readWriteMode>add originals</readWriteMode>
</timeSeriesSet>
</variable>
<variable>
<variableId>P_Day_MMAyA</variableId>
<timeSeriesSet>
<moduleInstanceId>Preprocess_P_day</moduleInstanceId>
<valueType>scalar</valueType>
<parameterId>P.obs</parameterId>
<locationSetId>Meteo_MMAyA</locationSetId>
<timeSeriesType>external historical</timeSeriesType>
<timeStep unit="day"/>
<relativeViewPeriod unit="day" startOverrulable="true" start="-5" end="0"/>
<readWriteMode>add originals</readWriteMode>
</timeSeriesSet>
</variable>
<transformation id="PdiaMMAyA">
<aggregation>
<accumulative>
<inputVariable>
<variableId>P_15minMMAyA</variableId>
</inputVariable>
<outputVariable>
<variableId>P_Day_MMAyA</variableId>
</outputVariable>
</accumulative>
</aggregation>
</transformation>
</transformationModule>

The code in xml for the filters xml for the location set is as it follows

<filter id="Meteo_MMAyA_dia" name="MMAyA diario">
<timeSeriesSet>
<moduleInstanceId>Preprocess_P_day</moduleInstanceId>
<valueType>scalar</valueType>
<parameterId>P.obs</parameterId>
<locationSetId>Meteo_MMAyA</locationSetId>
<timeSeriesType>external historical</timeSeriesType>
<timeStep unit="day"/>
<relativeViewPeriod unit="day" start="-5" end="0"/>
<readWriteMode>add originals</readWriteMode>
</timeSeriesSet>
</filter>

I dont know if the process to follow in the FEWS visor for calling transformation modules is the same as the one to follow por import data, thata the only part where i could believe there is my problem but im not sure.
Please if you could take me a hand as soon as possible i would be really greatefull!
