Problem using ExternUnit - Spatial Display

Hi guys,

i need some help pls.

I am trying to import two .Bil files to display wind speed and direction [u,v]. Which works perfectly, but
I need to use an ExternUnit, because i need to divide the imported values by 10.

Somehow it just ignores the externUnit, don't know why...

Maybe you guys have some ideas or work arounds for me.

Thanks for the help.

hi David,

can you provide the configuration of the import module, and the part of the UnitConversion file containing the conversion from external to internal unit?

regards,
Arnejan

PS a quick hack would be to import timeseries as type "temporary" and in a consecutive transformation divide the timeserie by 10...

Hi Arnejan,

thanks for the reply.

I successfully imported the bil files with an ExternUnit, but, again, i am not sure why (maybe magic ? )

My "solution" was to delete the whole database, and again importing the .bil files.
Maybe some old configurations in the database were causing the problem??

But thanks for the help anyway!!
Had not the time yet to try the "temporary" type, but i hope soon.

cheers,
David
