Coast / Estuary

Coastal systems are among the most dynamic physical systems on earth and are subject to a large variety of forces. The morphodynamic changes occurring to coastlines worldwide are of great interest and importance. These changes occur as a result of the erosion of sediments, its subsequent transport as bed load or suspended load, and eventual deposition. 
Estuaries are partly enclosed water bodies that have an open connection to the coast. Estuaries generally have one or more branching channels, intertidal mudflats and/or salt marshes. Intertidal areas are of high ecological importance and trap sediments (sands, silts, clays and organic matter).
Within the Delft3D modelling package a large variation of coastal and estuarine physical and chemical processes can be simulated. These include waves, tidal propagation, wind- or wave-induced water level setup, flow induced by salinity or temperature gradients, sand and mud transport, water quality and changing bathymetry (morphology). Delft3D can also be used operationally e.g. storm, surge and algal bloom forecasting.

I am slightly confused as my coupled FLOW/WAVE run was running fine until time ~28800minutes in wavecon. But then the following wavecon conditions are not read anymore, and not used in the calculation. FLOW finished until the end of the simulation, while WAVE stopped where wavecon stopped being read.
I cannot see any keyword in the WAVE steering file specifying a calculation end time, nor an error explaining why wavecon stopped being read. Conditions in wavecon around time 28800 are not changing dramatically, so I cannot infer an instability.

Would you have any idea why it stopped reading wavecon?

Please find attached the FLOW/WAVE log file and the wavecon file.

From the tri-diag file, you can find which exact time of wave condition has been used in the simulation.

For a flow-wave coupling simulation, the wave running time point is determined by flow. For example, if flow setting says, from 0 to 28800, to run wave every hour, then wave will be started every hour. When wave running, it will look into the wavecon file and set the boundary. Thus I would suggest you to check the flow setting again.
