Coast / Estuary

Coastal systems are among the most dynamic physical systems on earth and are subject to a large variety of forces. The morphodynamic changes occurring to coastlines worldwide are of great interest and importance. These changes occur as a result of the erosion of sediments, its subsequent transport as bed load or suspended load, and eventual deposition. 
Estuaries are partly enclosed water bodies that have an open connection to the coast. Estuaries generally have one or more branching channels, intertidal mudflats and/or salt marshes. Intertidal areas are of high ecological importance and trap sediments (sands, silts, clays and organic matter).
Within the Delft3D modelling package a large variation of coastal and estuarine physical and chemical processes can be simulated. These include waves, tidal propagation, wind- or wave-induced water level setup, flow induced by salinity or temperature gradients, sand and mud transport, water quality and changing bathymetry (morphology). Delft3D can also be used operationally e.g. storm, surge and algal bloom forecasting.

Delft3D-WAVE invalid gridfile error

Delft3D-WAVE invalid gridfile error

The Delft3D GUI gives an invalid gridfile error when importing the attached grid. I've edited it to change the missing values to 0, and it appears fine in the visualization of the gui.

I have tried various things to fix the error, with the only success if I change the coordinates of the grid entirely. This grid is nested within a larger model and all the other grids work and produce wave outputs except this one.

I would appreciate some help in identifying the specific issue with this grid and Delft3D-WAVE, as it works as intended within FLOW.

While the gui still gives an error for this grid, I managed to find another error in my input and it now seems to work fine despite the gui error.

As a further question I am curious as to whether vegetation has been added to the Delft3d-WAVE module, as I have it included in my FLOW model and would like to run both with online coupling.
