wave input-time series - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Feel free to share your smart questions and/or brilliant solutions!

Hai
How can i give the time series wave condition for Delft3d wave?
The format of giving input i needed?
The boundary condition i am giving as uniform and i need to specify the spectra using a file?( was it .bnd file format not mentioned anywhere?)
how could this be done ?
thanks in advance
regards
shana

Thanks to Sergio Ferrari
he solved the problem
* Itdate Hs Tp Dir(º) ms wl windspeed wind dir.(º)
BL01
2 8 * number of rows number of columns
0 0 2. 0 10 0 0.0 0
720 0 2. 0 10 0 0.0 0
You can specify time series of wve haight, period, wind speed and direction.
It has to be in the working directory and the extension of the file has to be the name of mdw file. For example if you have a file called test.mdw, the wavecon will be called wavecon.test
refer: A.2.9 Several wave conditions with time points in<wavecon.rid> in Delft3d -wave user manual

.The way to do it is to create e a wavecon file with the following structure.
* Itdate Hs Tp Dir(º) ms wl windspeed wind dir.(º)
BL01
2 8 * number of rows number of columns
0 0 2. 0 10 0 0.0 0
720 0 2. 0 10 0 0.0 0
