depth to xyz - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Feel free to share your smart questions and/or brilliant solutions!

Hello everyone,
I hope that everyone of you is doing great, I have a question about something I think it is possible to do with QUICKIN, but I am not sure.
I created a depth file for 2 domains (that I will later combine in flow using DD method).
For each one of these domains I manually created the depth files (using depth isoline, depth line sweep and depth linear).
So, now I want to use this depth files (with all the depths in each point) and extend them to 3 grids, that I will use in anidation.
Can you give any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day all!.

Dear Alejandro,
To get the depth values from a grid into an xyz-file you have to perform the following actions:
Be sure that there are no samples anymore loaded into QUICKIN.
Select from the menubar Operations -> Copy Depth to Samples.
Select from the menubar Files -> Attribute FIles -> Save Samples
Now the samples (depth-values) are written to file in the xyz-file format
