missing dll - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Feel free to share your smart questions and/or brilliant solutions!

Hi Kidung,
Does http://oss.deltares.nl/web/opendelft3d/source-code#Run a calculation help?
If not, can you describe in more detail what the problem is?
Thanks.
Adri

Hi Adri,
actually i have read all the FAQ in this site, but it didnt help me, the problem always occur when i used tagged version
so i tried the trunk version, updated with SVN and compile it. And it works.. every example run fine like you did in webinar
my question is, the previous webinar said trunk version possibly not stable.. what does this stability mean? not stable for the compile source code or the result of software simulation ?
is it safe if i used trunk ver.? because i have no idea what problem with the tagged ver. I compiled earlier..
thanks for the answers..

Hi Kidung,
A version is called stable when:
The trunk version will not be stable all the time due to (not yet tested) code changes. As soon as a certain revision is stable, it will be added to the tagged versions. I aim on at least one stable version each month. From October 2011 to February 2012, compiling the trunk version on Linux was very difficult. Therefore an additional warning was broadcasted.
I must admit that I was lagging behind with tagging stable revisions. I added a minute ago 5.00.01 to 5.00.04.
You are free to choose: stick to the trunk version or switch to a tagged version. In case you are going to perform "serious calculations", you should always use a tagged version.
Regards,
Adri
A version is called stable when:
- It compiles without errors on both Windows and Linux. This is tested on Deltares machines and wil not guarantee that it will compile on your system.
- The resulting binaries passed our testbench
