How to obtain D3d GUI - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Feel free to share your smart questions and/or brilliant solutions!

Hi all
After install the d3d source code, how can I get the GUI, Instead of seeing the "TEMPORARY EXTRA SERVICE" on the top of the download page, "You don't have the roles required to access the portlet" exited on the top. What I should do?

Hi..
Yeah, I got that message too. There seems to be a problem with the permissions your account has for the oss website.
You should email Adri at oss-webmaster@deltares.nl - He can sort you out. Just explain to him your problem and need for the GUI files.
Incidentally, if you did have sufficient privileges to see the "TEMPORARY EXTRA SERVICE" you would find out that there is a link to generate an email request to sales@deltaressystems.nl for the GUI files. They never replied to my request. Send Adri an email (he's great) and CC it to these sales guys.
Regards,
Shawn
