Ubuntu 32 bit install PATH - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Feel free to share your smart questions and/or brilliant solutions!

I am working on getting Delft3d up and going using Ubuntu 14.1 installed on a VMWare virtual machine. I think that my compilation has gone successfully following the outline above. Where things grinding to a stop is on page 25 where I try to run deltares_hydro.tcl. I export the path with "buildpath/bin" replaced with /home/delft3trunk/src/build/bin (where the deltares_hydro.tcl is). When I try to execute deltares_hydro.tcl in the 01_standard directory, I get a file not found error. I assume that I am not pointing the PATH in the right place but I'm not sure where else to point it.
Thanks

Hi Drew,
If you compile with "make ds-install", a ready-to-use directory "<yoursourcecodepath>\bin\lnx" will be created, containing all binaries. The script "<yoursourcecodepath>\examples\01_standard\run_flow2d3d.sh" can now be executed without any copying around.
See "<yoursourcecodepath>\src\README" and "Download > Source code" on this site.
Regards,
Adri
