Unable to run DelftDashboard batch file - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Unable to run DelftDashboard batch file

I have two question, i really appreciate your help.
1. I was able to generate all the files required, but was unable to run the batch file. The batch file shows up and disappears. My computer is window 7 with 64-bit. Please help me.
2. What about if I generate all the files for Delft3D-Flow in Dashboard and bring back in Delft3D. I am thinking opening a new MDF file in Delft and bring all the Dashboard files; especially I want to use the track and tsunami initial condition files, is this possible?

Hai Lema,
I had the same problem. Delft Dashboard (DD
is using flow version 5.00. So you need to save your mdf file to version 5.00.
If, you do not have the option to save the mdf file to version 5.00, then follow the instruction given in the link below:

Hi Abnet and Anas,
Example batch files that fit to the version number used can be found in the examples directory when downloading the source code.
A model being defined by an mdf-file and the files it refers to can be run with the 4.00, 5.00 and 6.00 Delft3D-FLOW versions. The only difference is the way to start it. See the release notes for more info.
Regards,
Adri
