Compiling - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Feel free to share your smart questions and/or brilliant solutions!

Compiling
Couple of things Im not sure what to do with:
1 error:
ERROR while copying "redist\ia32\compiler\*.dll" to "..\bin\win32\wave\lib"
+ some 69 warnings!!
My Info:
- tag 5.00.08.1855
- windows 7 64bit
- VS2010
- Intel Fortran Composer XE 2013
Does anyone know what is causing the error and how to fix?
Also, Im not a developer, yet, so I would like to know about the severity of warnings (just for this example of D3D, not in general), is one warning enough to warrant recompiling?
Thanks to all.

Dear Ed,
It seems like some copying scripts caused the problem. But given the info, we cannot identify exactly.
My test machine has almost the same setting like yours.
My Info:
- tag 5.00.08.1855
- windows 7 64bit
- VS2010
The only difference is the Fortran compiler is:
Intel(R) Visual Fortran Composer XE 2011 Update 11
Hope this may help!
Qinghua

Qinghua,
Ok, thanks for the reply.
You say that the copying scipts could be the problem. Should I check for all updates with my compiler?
or are the scripts you refer to associated with the solution? and therefore I should download the tagged version again?
thanks
Ed

Hi Ed,
I prefer to download the code and compile again.
