D-Flow Flexible Mesh

D-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:

  • Easier 1D-2D-3D model coupling, intuitive setup of boundary conditions and meteorological forcings (amongst others).
  • More flexible 2D gridding in delta regions, river junctions, harbours, intertidal flats and more.
  • High performance by smart use of multicore architectures, and grid computing clusters.

*** WARNING MAP stop time outside simulation period; will be reset

The simulation start time and stop time are 01/01/2005, 31/12/2005, time step is 10 minute
The store map start time and stop time are 17/12/2005, 30/12/2005 ( I changed it from 31/12/2005 to 30/12/2005, but there is still a warning), interval is 100

Hi Liu ying,

This warning means the stop time is longer than the simulation time. Or in the map output, the start time + an integer * interval > the stop time in the map output. Then the last output will be automatically adjusted to the last simulation time. So you don't have to worry about it.
