D-Flow Flexible Mesh

D-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:

  • Easier 1D-2D-3D model coupling, intuitive setup of boundary conditions and meteorological forcings (amongst others).
  • More flexible 2D gridding in delta regions, river junctions, harbours, intertidal flats and more.
  • High performance by smart use of multicore architectures, and grid computing clusters.

Dear Sir:

I tried to simulate the tsumina propagation iwith Delft Dashboard (64-bits version). For somehow, when I move to "OUTPUT" in Delft Menu, the dos window always shows the following error message and the compiled batch file can't be run appropriately. Please advice how to fix the problem.

Error using feval
Indefined function 'ddb_updateOutputTimes' for input arguments of type'double'.

Error in gui_addElements>finishCallback (line 783)

Error in gui_addElements>edit_Callback (line 466)

Error while vealuating uicontrol Callback.

Dear Leon,

Are you running Dashboard from Matlab or as a standalone executable? I checked for the 64 bits executable, but cannot reproduce the error. If you're running it from Matlab, it seems that the file ddb_updateOutputTimes is missing. It should be in the folder DelftDashBoard\main\operations.
