Compiling Delft3D Version 2514 - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Compiling Delft3D Version 2514
Hi,
I am trying to compile version 2514, downloaded from https://svn.oss.deltares.nl/listing.php?repname=Delft3D&path=%2Ftags%2F2514%2F&#a5b4fc0a52bf3f2df79e49430340c3217
DELWAQ Version 5.00.01.2514
Delft3D-FLOW Version 6.00.01.2514
Delft3D-WAVE Version 3.04.02.2514
The when I compile the code I get:
========== Build: 64 succeeded, 8 failed, 8 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
Any ideas why I might have 8 failed?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Jennifer,
Please:
- start with an empty directory
- download the source code (again)
- open VisualStudio with the proper solution
- build everything
- copy/paste the full contents of the output window into a text file
- post that text file here on the forum
Thanks.
Regards,
Adri
