D-Flow Flexible Mesh

D-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:

  • Easier 1D-2D-3D model coupling, intuitive setup of boundary conditions and meteorological forcings (amongst others).
  • More flexible 2D gridding in delta regions, river junctions, harbours, intertidal flats and more.
  • High performance by smart use of multicore architectures, and grid computing clusters.

Good morning everyone,I'm running an online coupled FLOW-WAVE simulation and finding the following error:Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:       124      415  
Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:       982     2678  
Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:      3943    12045  
Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:      7391    13302  
Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:      4893      867  
Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:       481        0  
Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:         0        0  
Severe error     : incorrect code in b.c. file:         0        0 I've tried several different approaches to deal with it. I've changed tpar files, grid files, wave boundaries number and types (orientation, grid coordinates), stress formulation due to wave forces (Fredsoe and van Rijn 2004) and bottom friction, as far as I can remember now.After all these changes, the error occurs at different time steps of the simulation, but it always happens. I could not find an exact relation to any parameter or change I've made.Does any of you possibly know what it could be?Thank you very much.

Hello again,
Just adding an update: This problem happens with the same input files (same directory and file names also) at different timesteps of the simulation.

Hi Dmitry! Thanks for the answer.Actually, I'm using 62441 revision, which, I reckon, is one of the most recent revisions, according to the release notes.I've checked that post by Adri before and also already checked my swan_input.f90 file, and it was updated.I really don't know what is going on.
