D-Flow Flexible Mesh

D-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:

  • Easier 1D-2D-3D model coupling, intuitive setup of boundary conditions and meteorological forcings (amongst others).
  • More flexible 2D gridding in delta regions, river junctions, harbours, intertidal flats and more.
  • High performance by smart use of multicore architectures, and grid computing clusters.

Consecutive Times in BCT

Hello All,

One of my models won't run, with the following error:

*** ERROR Consecutive times in peepE04_from20161211.bct must increase

But the problem is that I am quite sure that the times in this .bct file are strictly increasing. The Matlab output below shows that this is the case, so I am not sure what the problem is. I am attaching a model that shows this same error in a .zip file, and I would appreciate it if someone could take a look at it to see if I am missing something. The td-diag file is included in the zip file.

One further note: these files were all written using the Delft3D Matlab toolbox, but I get the same behavior if I save them with the standard GUI.

The times in .bct file are negative, I don't think that Delft3D allows this.
