D-Flow Flexible Mesh

D-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:

  • Easier 1D-2D-3D model coupling, intuitive setup of boundary conditions and meteorological forcings (amongst others).
  • More flexible 2D gridding in delta regions, river junctions, harbours, intertidal flats and more.
  • High performance by smart use of multicore architectures, and grid computing clusters.

Hello,

I am unable to compile delwaq on windows 7 pc using visual studio 2008 and Visual Intel Fortran compiler 11.1 and I am hoping someone will help me out.

I added waq projects to existing d_hydro_open_source.sln project as shown in the webinar files. When building the project, however, almost all projects were successfully compiled except waq projects shown. I tested the recent TRUNK as well as previous tagged versions. Build configuration was set to win 32 release.


It generated numerous warnings and errors that include:

LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'delwaq1_lib.lib'
LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'delwaq2_lib.lib'
LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'waq_io.lib'
G:\Delft3d_Trunk\src\engines_gpl\waq\packages\delwaq2_lib\src\waq_omi_lib.f90(153): error #6460: This is not a field name that is defined in the encompassing structure.
G:\Delft3d_Trunk\src\engines_gpl\waq\packages\delwaq2_lib\src\waq_omi_lib.f90(166): error #7002: Error in opening the compiled module file. Check INCLUDE paths.
G:\Delft3d_Trunk\src\engines_gpl\waq\packages\delwaq2_lib\src\waq_omi_lib.f90(427): error #6366: The shapes of the array expressions do not conform.
