Error in Quickplot when exporting wave height as a shapefile (.shp) - D-Flow Flexible Mesh - Delft3D
intro story D-Flow FM
D-Flow Flexible MeshD-Flow Flexible Mesh (D-Flow FM) is the new software engine for hydrodynamical simulations on unstructured grids in 1D-2D-3D. Together with the familiar curvilinear meshes from Delft3D 4, the unstructured grid can consist of triangles, pentagons (etc.) and 1D channel networks, all in one single mesh. It combines proven technology from the hydrodynamic engines of Delft3D 4 and SOBEK 2 and adds flexible administration, resulting in:
An overview of the current developments can be found here. The D-Flow FM - team would be delighted if you would participate in discussions on the generation of meshes, the specification of boundary conditions, the running of computations, and all kinds of other relevant topics. Feel free to share your smart questions and/or brilliant solutions!

Error in Quickplot when exporting wave height as a shapefile (.shp)

Hello!
I am having a problem when I try to export contour lines of sig wave height as an ARCview shapefile. I want to be able to overlay wave heights on my basemap in ARCmap GIS. I can successfully export my grid and import it into GIS, but when I try to export wave height I receive the following error:
Catch in d3d_qp\exportdata
Invalid number of columns in XY
In private\shapewrite at line 92
In private\qp_export at line 609
In d3d_qp at line 1611
In the Quickplot settings, I have selected the full M and N range, X-Y Axes type, contour lines in a single color, and have left all other default values (clipping values, line width, thresholds, etc.). The export file type is ARCview shape, as mentioned before. I have tried exporting with an X-Y-val Axes type, and this will export successfully, but I receive an error when trying to import into GIS.
I am using DELFT3D 4.01.00 for Windows
Please let me know if anyone knows how to export wave heights in a way that is GIS compatible.
Thanks!
Hannah
