intro story DELWAQ
DELWAQDELWAQ is the engine of the D-Water Quality and D-Ecology programmes of the Delft3D suite. It is based on a rich library from which relevant substances and processes can be selected to quickly put water and sediment quality models together. The processes library covers many aspects of water quality and ecology, from basic tracers, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, organic matter, inorganic suspended matter, heavy metals, bacteria and organic micro-pollutants, to complex algae and macrophyte dynamics. High performance solvers enable the simulation of long periods, often required to capture the full cycles of the processes being modelled. The finite volume approach underlying DELWAQ allows it to be coupled to both the structured grid hydrodynamics of the current Delft3D-FLOW engine and the upcoming D-Flow Flexible Mesh engine (1D-2D-3D) of the Delft3D Flexible Mesh Suite (or even other models such as TELEMAC). 'DELWAQ in open source' is our invitation to all leading experts to collaborate in further development and research in the field of water quality, ecology and morphology using Delft3D. Feel free to post your DELWAQ related questions or comments in this dedicated forum space. If you are new to DELWAQ, the tutorial (in the user manual) is a good place to start. A list of DELWAQ related publications is available here. ** PLEASE TAG YOUR POST! ** | Sub groups

SVN checkout issues
Youngling Posts: 3 Join Date: 5/29/19 Recent PostsI am trying to obtain the Delft 3D FLOW source code. While trying to access the latest version of the module from SVN repository, I keep getting prompted to enter my username and password. Since I cannot browse the repository as my credentials are not being accepted for some reason, I obtained the url for downloading the tag from a webinar. I don`t even know if this is a valid version of Delft 3D FLOW. When I used it to download the source code using Tortoise SVN, it only progresses when I do enter the credentials multiple times, else it stagnates. Even after this, the process ends with multiple error messages as shown in the attached screen grab.It would be really helpful, if somebody has any insight in this matter.

RE: SVN checkout issues
Youngling Posts: 3 Join Date: 5/29/19 Recent PostsThank you so much for your help, but I still cannot access the source code. I have to enter my credentials multiple times, only to get an authentication error. I can login to the Deltares site with these same credentials, but I simply do not know what is the problem with the SVN site.
Thank you once again. Please let me know if there is any alternative way to obtain the code. Also, if you could guide me on one more thing. I used Delft 3D Dashboard to create the input files and run a basic storm surge model. Is it a possibility that since I don`t have the Delft 3D FLOW compiled on my system, the model will not be generated in Dashboard as well? I have just started out on modelling, so I don`t know exactly what the issue is.
Regards
Nandita

Youngling Posts: 3 Join Date: 5/29/19 Recent PostsI already have the credentials required for the SVN login. If I am not mistaken, its the same I use to log into the Deltares site. It still stops at 65kB. I have mailed the Deltares team and awaiting their reply. Regards,Nandita
