Hi everyone,
I'm interested in using real time control to simulate operation of a series of gates on a river diversion channel but I note in the manual (section B.3.2.2) that this feature is not currently documented. Can anyone supply any guidance or examples of how to use this feature.
Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,
RTC is not open source. You can only use it if you have a service package, the "Delft3D Basic Service Package" will do.
Attached is an example testcase, including a runscript (one for Windows and Linux). This runscript is based on Delft3D-FLOW version 6.xx. The paths inside the script must be adapted to your system.
RTC will be replaced by the open source RTC-TOOLS in the future. But the functionality "run online with Delft3D-FLOW" is not implemented in RTC-TOOLS yet.
Regards,
Adri

Hi Adri
I tried to run your testcase in Delft3D-FLOW version 6.01.13.4600.
But It stops in first step d_hydro and It doesn't progress next step.
It seems to run together rtc.exe.
Does it work the testcase in new version?
Thanks.

Thank you advance.

Andi
