Most active forum member on open source portal receives award

On Tuesday, 5 November at the Delft Software Days (DSD2013), Deltares handed out an award to a member of the software community in recognition of his substantial contribution to the open source portal.

The software community includes more than 5,300 members. The person who was most active on the Delft3D forum this year was Renan Ribeiro of Tetra Tech in Brazil.

The most active member is selected based on a number of criteria, but mostly on the quantity and quality of posts (both questions and answers), useful feedback sent to Deltares and other activities (news, events, screencasts, process demos, modelling guidelines, articles or other content submitted).

Renan earned the award with his nuts-and-bolts discussions on boundary conditions, bathymetry data, grids, tides, waves and post processing, and his invaluable feedback sent to Deltares.
