Webinar "Realization of Maasvlakte 2, Nautical requirements, examples of studies applying Deltares Software Products" on Wednesday, 12 June 2013

Deltares is pleased to announce that Martijn de Jong (Deltares) will present a special edition of the Webinar series on Wednesday, 12 June 2013 (17:00 CEST / 11:00 EDT) entitled:

"Realization of Maasvlakte 2: Nautical requirements, examples of studies applying Deltares Software Products"

Recently Maasvlakte 2, the extension of the Port of Rotterdam (The Netherlands), has been realized. In this webinar Martijn de Jong will give a presentation of the use of Deltares Software Products in studies related to the optimization of the Maasvlakte 2. The following topics will de discussed during the presentation:

  • General introduction of the Maasvlakte 2 project
  • Examples of studies applying Deltares Software products
  • Elaboration of a study for optimization of a cooling water outfall

From 10-14 June 2013, a new edition of the Deltares Software Dagen is organized at Deltares in Delft, The Netherlands. This event is organized to facilitate the interaction between users and developers of Deltares Software Products, Tools and Systems in the field of water, subsoil and infrastructure. The webinar is included in the official programme of the Deltares Software Dagen. Participants at this event have the opportunity to attend the presentation live. The webinar presentation will be in English.

The international equivalent of the Deltares Software Dagen, called the Delft Software Days, is a two-week event and will be organized from 28 October – 8 November 2013, at Deltares in Delft.
