Hi,I really hope someone can help me with this.
I try to create a small program which can extract the simulation
result from the .dat & .def file automatic with MATLAB (like
QUICKPLOT do) for further processing the simulation result. I followed
the instruction in the Delft3D-MATLAB_User_Manual. Currently I can get
all the information of 'Waterlevel' ('ZWL'), and 'Momentary discharge
through cross section' ('CTR') ,after compare to the export file from
QUICKPLOT, these Waterlevel and Discharge is correct. But when I get
the 'velocity per layer in station' ('ZCURU' and 'ZCURV'), it seem
like this is not the "depth averaged velocity" that the
QUICKPLOT export. So How can I get the depth average velocity from the

It seems like you have a 3d simulation. You need to integrate the
velocity components at each layer to a depth-averaged velocity.
