I have simulated the flow in a lake and I have got the input files
for Water quality model using online coupling. Now I want to add or
delete an open boundary in water quality model. But I cannot make it.
Once I modified the existing open boundary, a warning (see the
picture) was presented and the open boundaries were reset.
Do you have any solution to this problem?
You cannot as there will be flow through that parr of the model. You
change the length of the sections to refine the boundary conditions
and you can simply zeroes in, but the boundary exists
If there is no flow, then the dispersion may be turned off as well -
this is a suboption in the Numerical Options datagroup. In that case
there would be no transport at all and that explains the phenomenon
you mention. (It has to do with detecting drying/flooding and thin dams)
