HI, BECOME A DELWAQ USER.

IN SPITE OF READ MANUAL, MODEL SETUP & APPLICATION IS NOT EASY FOR ME. '_'..

I HAVE ANY QUESTION FOR DELWAQ MODELING.

IN CASE OF ANOTHER MODEL(EX. efdc.. etc), IT IS ALREADY DETERMINED MAX GRID_NUMBER(EX. X,Y,Z).

HOW ABOUT THIS MODEL?

X,Y,Z IS DETERMINED FOR USED DELFT3D GUI?

PLEASE TELL ME.

THANKS YOU.

Hi Hrejet,

The dimensions of your WAQ domain are initially determined by the the FLOW (hydrodynamic) simulation. With the coupling between FLOW and WAQ you can then aggregate your dimensions in the horizontal, in the vertical or in time.

If you are using the hydrodynamic results (FLOW) from somebody else you can discuss with them how to best change their domain without incurring into excessive numerical diffusion or make changes that are not reasonable in terms of hydrodynamics.

If you want to start from scratch you have to learn how to use Delft3D-FLOW first if you don't know that already.

Regards,

João.
