Dear Reza,
RGFGRID is only meant for grid generation. In the DeltaShell GUI there is a spatial editor available for bed roughness (and other items such as the bed level).
If you start the DeltaShell GUI you can open the D-Flow FM User Manual in the central map. Please read this User Manual (globally).
With kind regards,
Erik de Goede, Deltares

Hi Erik,
Thanks for your response. I know how to use DeltaShell GUI and already tried it, but it didn't work for me. I have done the following steps:
1- Imported a XYn file containing coordinates and roughness values required at a particular location.
2- Imported grids (2D grids)
3- Interpolated the XYn file (using averaging method)
Results show roughness value of zero.
I am trying to model piled wharves and want to define local roughness to model the piles, but struggling how to do that.
Cheers,
Reza

Dear Reza,
The problem with averiging of samples is due to a bug in the (spatial editor) software. We therefore advise you to apply triangularization. As an alternative, you can add roughness via the 'Set Value' option by choosing 'Add' for the 'Pointwise Operation'.
With kind regards,
Erik
