Hi Alfonso,

I think the message is caused by an unexpected set up of the RUN file.
Can you please send/attach your runfile?

Kind regards,

Frans Roelofsen

Hi Frans,

Thanks for your reply. Please find attached the .RUN file.

I didnĀ“t make any change on the file, only copy / past from "tutorial 6 " folder to the location C:\iMOD3.3\IMOD_USER\RUNFILES

HI Alfonso,

Thanks for the runfile, but could you send me the particular runfile that iMODFLOW is using, that one is located in the [result]-folder and doesn't contain the keyword $DBASE$ anymore.

Kind regards,

Hi Alfonso,

Thanks for the runfile. I see what is going wrong. Probably the export to a runfile doesn't take into account the spaces in your paths. Below is a part of your runfile and all sections are missing the appropriate files.

8,(BND)
1,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD
2,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD
3,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD
4,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD
5,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD
6,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD
7,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD
8,1.0,0.0,C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD

We will fix this in our next release and make iMOD more robust for those kind of pathnames. For now you could a) replace the missing files references yourself, (use quotes around the filenames), or b) put iMOD within a folder without any spaces and/or points and start iMOD again. So instead of installing everything on

C:\IMOD3.3\IMOD 3.3\IMOD_USER\MODELS\MODELO33

install it on:

C:\IMOD3_3\IMOD3_3\IMOD_USER\MODELS\MODELO33

I get the same problem with starting model simulation in tutorial 6.
I have read your disscusion and tried to apply shown solutions into my RUN file to fix problem but it still does not work correctly.
I attach the run file.

I would be really grateful, if you could answer and help me.

Hi Artur,

I've looked at your runfile but it looked okay to me. If it will not run, is there any message on the screen saying what the problem is, or could you send me the *.lst file alternatively.

Thanks.

Hi Peter!

I've just solved my problem. The path for boundary.idf in MODFLOW.RUN was defined incorrectly. At the moment it works fine.

Greetings,
Artur

Hi, Peter

I run the model, however in the MODEL Folder of this simulation (see attachment) I only get this folder [mmf2005_tmp].

I use the Quick View Tool and in the Topic I don't have other folders, in the Tutorial they talk about the topic [HEAD].

If I check the folder MODELS/MODEL25, I don't have any other results.

Thanks,

Cinthya

Hi,

The model apparently didn't ran. Can you send me the LST file - in the MF2005-folder.

Peter
