Hello all,

I'd like to know how to read output f90 data (file.dat) using python. Is there any python toolbox built for XBeach ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Arthur,

Not that I know of, but if you are familiar with both Matlab and Python it should be relatively easy to 'translate' some of teh Xbeach Matlab Toolbox to Python. In case you are planning to do this, it would be great if you could share your tools with the community by uploading them to OpenEarth Tools emoticon

Cheers,
Arnold

You can create own function with using "with" statement. But for this, Your class must add to __exit__function. For example,

I am having some trouble accessing it. Whenever I try to open the mmWave_Demo_Visualizer_Record_2.0.0 application on my desktop, it fails since it cannot locate the "launcher.exe" file. It seems like the package available for download is incomplete.  Just to be sure, I checked the folder of the normal demo visualizer mmWave_Demo_Visualizer_2.0.0 (which is working) and saw that a launcher.exe file for that application indeed exists. For whatever reason the mmWave_Demo_Visualizer_Record_2.0.0 application does not install in full as it is supposed to. Perhaps this is something that TI needs to fix? I understand this could all be solved by using the online version of the visualizer that you linked to, but that is not an option for me given my admin privilege (or lack thereof) on the PC I'm using.

Hi,

I also dont know but I have a suggestion UC Browser, SHAREit, MX Player: is it possible to use another file format : CSV or JSON.

That would be really really easy to write a really quick parser for these file formats.
