Question Regarding Practice Exercises

Hello all, 
I have been trying to use the exercises provided on the wiki page (https://xbeach.readthedocs.io/en/latest/excercises.html) for XBeach to learn the software but am having a bit of trouble. I have used TortoiseSVN to download all the files into their own directory on my local drive. I am attempting the "Nourishment Case" project. The tutorial says to "double click on the file “runall.bat”." but when I do this, the model does not run. A command prompt window opens very briefly then closes again. 
Am I missing a step? 
On the previous exercise, I had the same issue, but I simply copied and pasted the XBeach.exe file into the folder and ran that instead of the .bat file.

Yes, I had the same problem trying to run delfland.  both with the .bat and the .exe file.  what is happening here?

What you have to do is to run the script runall.bat within a command line window.

In fact, during the brief moment, the error message is displayed Mini Militia, App Lock, 7Zip, so you have to run it inside a command line window so you can read it (the window does not close in this case)

To launch the command line window : Windows + R and then type cmd.exe

Change to the directory where the script is and just run it by typin its name runall.bat.
